Why Can't The Government Help Fibromyalgia Sufferers?

If you have been watching the news lately, you know that our government is divided. Republicans on one side and Democrats on the other…and they seemingly can’t come together to do what’s right for the country.

Is that’s why there’s little available help for fibromyalgia sufferers? Maybe, maybe not. But when one study considered various treatment options, it appeared that a multidiscipline treatment approach has the best clinical benefits compared to a single treatment approach.

Surprisingly, Chiropractic care may help many fibromyalgia sufferers. The care typically utilizes multiple types of treatments. These include gentle spine, arm, leg, joints and muscles care as well as appropriate exercise training, and the use of some modalities.

In fact, one study found that after 12 sessions of chiropractic care in a 4-week time frame, improvement in pain and sleep was experienced. The improvement in pain included less widespread pain, less pain intensity, a reduction in “trigger point” count (tender spots), and better tolerance to deep pressure. The improvement in sleep included deep sleep quality, less sleep interruptions and feeling more refreshed after sleep.

If you suffer from fibromyaglia, there is no quick cure. But it might be possible to get relief from a healthcare professional that takes a multidiscipline approach and uses many different treatment tools.

Like all doctors’ offices, care may vary from office to office.
